Get know about the tool for repair computer.

Ø  I learn about the tools that have use when assemble or disassemble the PC. The tools may not use every single one of these tools in every installation, but is best to have all of them on hand.

The type of power supply

Ø  Power supply is used desktop or laptop, we needs to be powered somehow. There have AT and ATX power supplies are very different and use different motherboard. There two power supply also have different pin connectors.

                                                            
                             




            Learn about type of motherboard 

 Ø  The motherboard is the heart of a computer. It is the main printed circuit board   present in the computer which hold the main electronic  components of the System like central processing unit and memory.

      Ø  Example  of motherboard’s that I learn is :-

Get know about Processor

Ø  Processor is microchip implanted in a CPU’s hand drive that processes instruction sent to it by the computer and the software programs. The Processors a manufactured by such corporations as Intel, AMD and ARM companies. The greater the gigahertz capacity of the processor, the quicker the computer will be able to process instructions sent to it.

Ø  The processors that I learn in my Industry Training is :-

Format window 7

Ø In window 7, you can format your C drive without being required to format all the other disk drives, or partition, on your computer.  The window 7 installation disc that was C drive and erase all your settings, files, and program on the partition. To format your C drive, you can save and back up your files and programs to an external disc before using the window 7 installation discs to complete the formatting procedure.

                 

Format window 8

Ø  You can perform a clean installation of Windows 8.1 or Windows 8 using installation media, such as a DVD or USB flash drive. You don't  need a previous version of Windows installed on your PC to perform a clean installation of Windows 8.1, but you do for Windows 

               

Format window using GHOST

Ø Format the window by using GHOST. Insert you Hiren’s Bootable CD into cd room, reboot and boot your machine from CD ROM. (check your BIOS settings for boot device priority). Select your Hard disk from the list where on which your window 7 is installed, Brows o the location where you want save your window’s ghost image. Ghost of C drive ,Finally restart the system

                              

        

Reset the WI-FI modem
Ø  Reset the WI-FI modem base on customer username and password that given.
After that set the WI-FI name and password that given by customer. After reset all the settings apply for it. Finally reboot the modem. 

                  

Replace the Motherboard

Ø  Replace the new motherboard with spoil once in CPU. Unplug all the hardware cables from spoil motherboard and take out it. Fix the new motherboard on PC casing.Fix the processor and CPU fan on socket give in motherboard. Connect all cable from power supply to motherboard and hardware’s. Insert the RAM into ram slot. If got any external driver example Graphic card, Network card and etc. ….  Fix it on PCI slot. After complete all the steps, on the system n go n check it.

    

Replace new Power Supply 

 Ø  First disconnect all the Power supply cable from motherboard and external hardware’s. Remove the power supply from CPU case. Replace it with new power supply and connect the cables to motherboard and hardware’s. After done switch on the PC and test it.

                         

Insert Graphic card 

Ø  Open the CPU casing and locate the graphic at expansion slot in motherboard that will accept your new video card. Gently place the video card on top of the slot and screw the video card to the frame or attach any hooks that hold the card in place. After that connect the VGA cable display ports on the back of the card. Install the driver to System by using the CD that given with Graphic card.

               

               

Replace the DVD-ROM driver

 Ø  Open the PC casing and look for the existing CD/DVD drive. Unplug the power and data cables from CD/DVD drive. Remove the screws   from the CD/DVD drive and then remove it from the casing. Slide the CD/DVD drive into the drive bay on the computer. Connect the data  and power cables to the CD/DVD drive. Open My Computer and you will see the drive.

Insert extra RAM in PC or laptop

         Ø  Turn off the PC or laptop. Unplug the power supply or AC adapter cable that runs to the PC or laptop (remove the battery in too). Open the casing                              from computer .Locate the RAM in empty module slot that given. After that on the system and the memory at my PC.

           

Insert the network card  

  Ø  Power down PC and remove the AC power cord. Open the computer case. Find an available Peripheral Component                                        Interconnect (PCI) slot on the motherboard and insert the network card. Close the computer case. Connect the Ethernet                             cable to network card. Plug your computer in and power it up. Check the network.

Install driver to pc 

Ø  Check the missing drive at device manage. After that find out the driver from internet base on name n model number for pc. Otherwise can use driver pack solution to install the driver to make it easier. 

Install Microsoft Office
Ø  Insert the Office CD. Enter your Office product key that given in with CD. Than install the Microsoft Office. Wait until complete the      steps. Microsoft office that I installed  is 2007 , 2010 and 2013 . 

              

Replace new Hard disk. 

Ø  Open the PC or laptop casing. Unplug the hard disk cable and replace the new hard disk on the casing. After that connect the SATA and  power cable on hard disk. Power on and go to BIOS setting and Integrated Peripherals SATA menu to see the drive is properly       connected of the drives installed in the system.

Disk clean up 

Ø  Disk clean up the computer maintenance utility included in Microsoft Windows designed to free up disk space on a computer's hard            drive. The utility first searches and analyses the hard drive for files that are no longer of any use, and then removes the unnecessary files  from hard disk.

Replace CMOS battery 

Ø  Unplug the power cable. Remove the screws on the rear of the PC. Slide the side panel off from the rear of the PC. Remove the battery from motherboard and replace it with new once. Once the battery is replaced turn on the computer and resetting the CMOS values to the defaults. After the values have all been entered make sure to save the settings before exiting.
